Originating from Broxburn, a small town outside Edinburgh, The Phantoms are an unsigned four-piece indie rock band formed in 2012. The Phantoms consist of Colin Simpson (vocal & guitar), Colin McKillop (lead guitar), Peter Stewart (bass & backing vocals) and Blair Cullen (drums).

With the bands influences ranging from The Real People to Kasabian, XFM Scotland’s Jim Gellatly described their sound as “what Oasis would have sounded like if they had listened to The Doors rather than The Beatles” and “soaring atmospheric Britpop.”

The lads released their debut five-track EP This Is How It Should Be in November 2013 which they quickly set about promoting with supporting slots for Catfish and the Bottlemen and We Were Promised Jetpacks. They followed that up in April this year with the release of their latest single ‘Revolution’. In the last couple of years the lads have performed at venues such as Maggie Mays, Cabaret Voltaire, Electric Circus and The Liquid Rooms, as well as venturing south of the border.
